Tourist Visa
As of April 2025, Indian citizens can enter Belarus visa-free for up to 30 days, provided they meet specific conditions.
Visa-Free Entry for Indian Citizens
Eligibility Criteria:
- Entry Point: Arrival must be through Minsk National Airport.
- Duration: Stay must not exceed 30 days.
- Travel Restrictions: This visa-free regime does not apply to travelers arriving from or departing to Russia, including airside transfers.
- Financial Requirement: Proof of financial means to cover your stay, such as at least 25 Euros per day.
- Health Insurance: Valid medical insurance covering Belarus with a minimum coverage of 10,000 Euros, which can be purchased upon arrival at the airport.
General Visa Requirements for Belarus
To apply for a tourist visa to Belarus, you need to submit the following documents:
1. Passports
• The applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of the visa application.
• Submit original old passport booklets if any.
2. Photographs
• Two recent passport-sized photographs (35x45 mm) with a white background and 70-80% face coverage.
3. Covering Letter
• A covering letter addressed to The Visa Officer, The Consulate General of Belarus.
• The letter should include a brief profile of the applicants and the purpose of travel with travel dates.
• For individuals, the letter can be on plain paper. For officials or sponsored applicants, it should be on the company letterhead.
4. Bank Statements
• Original personal and company bank statements for the last 3 months, with the bank’s seal and signature.
• The bank statements should be of relevant and active accounts showing proof of funds and income.
• The statements should have a closing date close to the visa application date (A4 size preferred).
5. Itinerary / Air Tickets
• Return air tickets and all internal flight/train tickets if any.
• A day-wise itinerary of the tour.
6. Purpose of Travel / Accommodation
• Visa of the country of destination or, if a visa is not required, confirmed air tickets, railway tickets, road transport tickets, or ticket booking confirmation.
7. Travel Insurance
• Medical insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 10,000.
