Kandy

Kandy, the capital of Sri Lanka's Central Province, is both an administrative hub and a revered religious center. It is renowned for the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred Buddhist sites globally. Recognized for its cultural and historical significance, Kandy was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988.
