Tourist Visa

For Indians, Kazakhstan offers a visa-free entry for up to 14 days, allowing for three trips within 180 days. If you plan to stay longer than 14 days, or if you wish to work in Kazakhstan, you will need to apply for a visa. 

If you plan to stay in Kazakhstan for more than 14 consecutive days or exceed 42 days within a 180-day period, you must obtain a visa. Kazakhstan offers e-visas for tourism and business purposes.

For an Indian national applying for a B12 Tourist Visa to Kazakhstan, the following documents are required:

1. Passports:

o Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and at least 2 blank pages.

o Original old passport booklets if any.

2. Photographs:

o 2 photographs with white background, glossy finish, 80% face coverage with a little shoulder to be seen, eyes and face clearly visible.

o Dimensions: 45mm x 35mm.

3. Covering Letter:

o A covering letter per individual/family/company addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, New Delhi.

o The letter should briefly describe the profile of the applicants, purpose of travel, and travel dates.

o For individuals, the letter can be on plain paper; for officials/sponsored applicants, it should be on company letterhead.

4. Supporting Documents:

o Booking certificate and payment receipts from the tour operator.

o Invitation letter (visa support) approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, bearing the Visa Clearance Number.

o Hotel booking or other accommodation proof in Kazakhstan.

o Detailed tour itinerary.

o Any government ID proof of the applicant.
