Tourist Visa

Indian citizens generally need a visa to enter Lebanon for tourism. This visa must be obtained before travel, not upon arrival. The visa application process typically involves submitting required documents to the Lebanese Embassy or an authorized visa application center. 

Here is a detailed guide to obtaining a tourist visa for Lebanon, including the required documents and particulars:

Required Documents and Particulars:

1. Passports:

o Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and at least 2 blank pages.

o Original old passport booklets, if any.

o Colored photocopy of the passport (identification pages).

2. Photographs:

o 2 photographs each.

o White background; Glossy finish; 80% face covered with a little shoulder to be seen; Eyes and face to be clearly visible.

o Dimensions: 45mm x 35mm.

3. Covering Letter:

o A covering letter per individual/family/company addressed to The Consular Section, Embassy of Lebanon.

o The Covering Letter should brief the profile of the applicants and the purpose of travel with travel dates.

o Covering Letter can be on a plain paper for individuals and on the company letterhead for officials/sponsored applicants.

4. Itinerary / Air Tickets:

o Return air tickets with all internal flight/train tickets, if any.

5. Bank Statements:

o Original 3 months personal and company's bank statements with the seal and signature from the bank and a minimum balance of 5 lakhs.

o Bank statements should be of relevant and active accounts showing proof of funds and income.

o Bank statements should be of a closing date closer to the date of visa application (A4 size preferred).

6. Supporting Documents:

o Booking Certificate and payment receipts from the tour operator.

o Hotel Booking or other accommodation proof in the name of the applicant.

o In case of private invitation, 'Invitation letter' from the Lebanese counterpart with clear address details in Lebanon. In case the invitee is a Lebanese citizen, a copy of his/her ID proof must be attached. If the invitee is a foreign national residing in Lebanon, Residential Permit Card with a minimum validity of 3 months should be attached.
