Tourist Visa

For Indian nationals traveling to Kenya, the following visa options are available:

Kenya no longer offers visas on arrival. Instead, all travelers must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before departure. This eTA is required for stays of up to 90 days and can be applied for online. The eTA application can be submitted up to 90 days before your planned travel date. 

The eTA is a mandatory digital travel authorization required for most foreign nationals, including Indian citizens, prior to traveling to Kenya. It replaces the previous eVisa system and must be obtained before departure.

Documents Required

  • Valid passport for at least six (6) months after your planned date of arrival into Kenya, with at least one blank page
  • Selfie or passport-type photo
  • Contact information, email address and phone number
  • Details of your arrival and departure itinerary
  • Accommodation booking confirmation(s)
  • Yellow vaccination certificate
  • 6 month bank statement
