Here are some key features and attractions of Pattaya: Pattaya is famous for its beaches, which offer a variety of activities including sunbathing, swimming, water sports, and beachside dining. The main beaches are Pattaya Beach, Jomtien Beach, and Wong Amat Beach. Each beach has its own unique charm, with Jomtien being quieter and more family-friendly compared to the bustling Pattaya Beach. Pattaya's Walking Street is the heart of the city's nightlife. This bustling street comes alive at night with neon lights, music, bars, nightclubs, restaurants, and entertainment venues. It is one of the most famous nightlife destinations in Thailand. The Sanctuary of Truth is an awe-inspiring wooden temple that showcases intricate carvings and traditional Thai architecture. It is a popular day-trip destination for those looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle. This expansive garden is renowned for its beautifully landscaped gardens, showcasing a variety of plants, flowers, and themed gardens. Nong Nooch also hosts cultural shows, including traditional Thai dance and martial arts performances, as well as an elephant show. The Pattaya Floating Market offers a unique shopping experience where vendors sell goods from boats along a network of canals. Visitors can explore the market by boat or on foot and enjoy a variety of traditional Thai foods, souvenirs, and handicrafts. Art in Paradise is an interactive 3D art museum where visitors can pose with creative and realistic artworks. The museum features a wide range of themed exhibits that make for fun and memorable photo opportunities. It is a popular attraction for families and thrill-seekers. Tiffany's Show is a world-famous cabaret show featuring talented transgender performers in dazzling costumes. The show combines music, dance, and theatrical performances, making it a must-see attraction in Pattaya. For panoramic views of Pattaya Bay, head to the Pattaya Viewpoint on Pratumnak Hill. This viewpoint offers stunning vistas of the city, especially at sunset, and is a great spot for photography. Pattaya offers several adventure and water parks for thrill-seekers and families. Ramayana Water Park and Cartoon Network Amazone are two popular water parks featuring slides, wave pools, and entertainment for all ages. Tourist Visa

Thailand has extended visa-free entry for Indian nationals indefinitely, and has launched an e-visa system for stays over 60 days. The e-visa system went live on January 1, 2025.

Tourists can enter visa-free; however, they must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity, a confirmed return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds (typically around 10,000 Thai Baht per person) upon arrival in Thailand.

Required Documents:

  • Passport: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of arrival in Thailand.
  • Proof of Accommodation: Have confirmation of your hotel reservations or a letter from your host detailing your place of stay.
  • Return or Onward Ticket: Carry a confirmed return ticket or an onward travel ticket indicating your departure from Thailand within the 60-day visa-free period.
  • Financial Proof: Be prepared to show evidence of sufficient funds to cover your stay, such as bank statements or cash.

Important points to remember:

  • Check visa validity:

While a VOA is available, if you plan on staying in Thailand for a longer period, it's recommended to apply for a tourist visa in advance.

  • Passport photos:

You may need recent passport-sized photographs as part of your application.

  • Visa fee:

Be prepared to pay the required visa fee in cash.

  • Contact the Thai embassy:

Always verify the latest requirements with the nearest Thai embassy or consulate before traveling.

For visits exceeding 60 days or for purposes other than tourism, it's necessary to apply for an appropriate visa through the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in India before your trip.
