Tourist Visa

Thailand has extended visa-free entry for Indian nationals indefinitely, and has launched an e-visa system for stays over 60 days. The e-visa system went live on January 1, 2025.

Tourists can enter visa-free; however, they must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity, a confirmed return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds (typically around 10,000 Thai Baht per person) upon arrival in Thailand.

Required Documents:

Passport: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of arrival in Thailand.
Proof of Accommodation: Have confirmation of your hotel reservations or a letter from your host detailing your place of stay.
Return or Onward Ticket: Carry a confirmed return ticket or an onward travel ticket indicating your departure from Thailand within the 60-day visa-free period.
Financial Proof: Be prepared to show evidence of sufficient funds to cover your stay, such as bank statements or cash.
