Tourist VisaÂ
1. Passport
• Original Passport: Valid for at least 6 months with at least 2 blank pages.
• Original Old Passport Booklets: If any.
2. Photographs
• Two passport-size photographs: White background, glossy finish, 80% face coverage with a little shoulder visible, eyes and face clearly visible. Dimensions: 3.5cm x 4.5cm.
3. Covering Letter
• Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Embassy of Burkina Faso.
• Content: Brief profile of the applicants, purpose of travel with dates.
• For Individuals/Families: Plain paper.
• For Company Officials/Sponsored Applicants: Company letterhead.
4. Bank Statements
• Original Bank Statements: Last six months of personal and company's bank statements, showing proof of funds and income.
• Relevance: Must show proof of funds and income, with a closing date closer to the visa application date (A4 size preferred).
5. Itinerary / Air Tickets
• Confirmed Onward/Return Air Ticket: Printout of the reservation attested by an IATA agent also allowed.
• Day-wise Itinerary: Detailed itinerary of the tour.
6. Purpose of Travel / Accommodation
• Accommodation Proof: Hotel confirmation from Burkina Faso to be faxed directly to the Embassy, or a sponsorship letter from a relative or friend.
• Health Certificate: Confirming vaccination against Yellow Fever, and possibly Cholera.
Ensure all documents are complete and accurate to avoid delays in the visa application process.
