Day 1 Arrival Guwahati
On arrival will be received and greeted by our company representative. After lunch proceed to Kamakhya Temple (Outer Darshan) as per time permit, then take the Ropeway. Evening free for Shopping at Fancy Bazar. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 2 GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA
After breakfast check out of the hotel and transfer to Kaziranga National park which is a world heritage site famous for the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros. The landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes and shallow pools.Kaziranga also has a good number of Tigers and is home to large breeding population of Elephants, Wild Water Buffalo and Swamp Deer.Visit , Outer View of Tea Garden, Rhino View Point, Orchid Park for Cultural Dance programs – which will showcase Tea Garden Dance (Jhumur) and Assam’s proud – Bihu Dance along with Karbi Bamboo Dance & many more. After returning back to the hotel and overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 3 KAZIRANGA –SHILLONG
After breakfast drive to Joy safari. Back to the hotel. After freshen up check out from the hotel & proceed to Shillong (100km/3 hrs. approx) – known as the Scotland of the East.On the way visit Umiam Lake – the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya . On arrival in Shillong, visit the St.Cathedral of Marry, & the Polo Ground (As per time permits). Evening free for leisure or for shopping in the famous Police Bazaar in Shillong. Overnight in Shillong. ● Supplement cost of Jeep Safari Rs.4000 per jeep ● Supplement cost of Elephant Safari Rs.1500 per person
Day 4 SHILLONG- DAWKI & MAWLYNNONG- CHERRAPUNJI
After early breakfast, drive to Dawki, a small town near the India Bangladesh border. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Umangot River. Later proceed to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Evening drive Cherrapunjee. Stay overnight at your hotel in Cherrapunjee.
Day 5 CHERRAPUNJI SIGHTSEEING- RETURN TO SHILLONG
Get up early to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Cherrapunjee. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 6 TRANSFER TO GUWAHATI & DEPARTURE
Early morning, Pack breakfast and check out from hotel & transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
