Package Itinerary

Day 1 Trivandrum – Thekkady

The tour begins with an early morning departure from Trivandrum between 06:00 AM and 06:30 AM, followed by a scenic drive to Thekkady. Breakfast will be arranged en route at Kottarakkara or Ennath, depending on travel timing. The journey continues through picturesque hill roads and plantation areas, with lunch arranged at Vandiperiyar or Kuttikanam.

Upon arrival in Thekkady, guests will proceed for the boating experience at Periyar Tiger Reserve between 03:30 PM and 05:30 PM. This 1.5-hour boat safari on Periyar Lake offers a chance to witness wildlife in their natural habitat. Sightings often include herds of elephants, sambar deer, gaur, and wild boars along the lake shores. The reserve is also home to a variety of bird species such as darters, egrets, and kingfishers perched on tree trunks emerging from the water. With some luck, guests may also spot smooth-coated otters playing near the lake.

After the boating session, proceed to the hotel for check-in. The evening is free for relaxation and leisure. Later, a get-together will be arranged at the hotel's mini hall or restaurant, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.

Day 2 Thekkady – Cumbum – Suruli Falls – Trivandrum

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed from Thekkady towards Cumbum via scenic high-range forest routes. En route, visit Elephant Junction, Thekkady, and a spice garden, where guests may opt for elephant rides, feeding, and photo sessions (at own cost). Continue to Cumbum and stop at YSR Grape Garden to enjoy fresh grapes and learn about the wine-making process. Lunch will be arranged at a restaurant in Cumbum.

After lunch, visit the Kodi Lingam Temple, located on Suruli Malai hill, followed by a visit to the scenic Suruli Falls. Later, begin the return journey to Thiruvananthapuram with a refreshment break en route. Guests will be dropped off in Trivandrum city, marking the end of the tour.
