Day 1 Amboseli National Park

We're thrilled that you chose to go on safari with us, and now is the moment when all of the planning pays off and your safari dreams begin to come true. You'll meet our team, we'll explain what happens next and answer any questions you might have. Then all that's left to do is go and start this safari trip of a lifetime together.

You'll be visiting one of the best safari parks in Africa when you come to Amboseli. The park is filled with big-tusked elephants, and Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain (5895m), looms over Amboseli. This combination makes for some fantastic photos, especially when the clouds clear over the summit as they do most days around sunrise and sunset. You also have a good chance of seeing lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes (out in the park's east), wildebeests and plenty of gazelles. The park is also terrific for birding, with 420 species recorded.

  1. You will be met in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by someone from our company. They will greet you and get you ready to begin your trip with us.
  2. Transfer by Road, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Kibo Safari Camp
  3. It's time for one of the great safari experiences, a guided game drive through Amboseli. Watch for elephants, lions, and maybe even the clouds parting over Mt Kilimanjaro.
  4. Relax and generally take it easy to allow yourself to both process and recover from all of the excitement that you’ve enjoyed on your safari so far.

Day 6 Nairobi

It's worth taking the time to explore Nairobi, which is both your gateway to so many safari experiences and a fascinating destination in its own right. Here you'll find museums, a national park and wildlife-rescue centers to go with the excellent shops, markets, restaurants, hotels and nightlife, as well as endlessly interesting street life.

You'll visit the Giraffe Centre, which combines serious conservation with unforgettable giraffe encounters.
