Day 1 Arrival in Trivandrum

In the morning, you will be picked up from Trivandrum airport or railway station and transported to your hotel for check-in. After settling in and relaxing, you will spend the evening visiting the renowned Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a significant religious site known for its intricate architecture and spiritual ambiance. Following this, you can explore the bustling local markets, immersing yourself in the vibrant culture and picking up some souvenirs. The day will conclude with an overnight stay at your hotel in Trivandrum, ensuring you are well-rested for the days ahead.


Day 2 Trivandrum to Alleppey

Check out from your hotel in the morning and embark on a scenic drive to Alleppey, which takes approximately 3-4 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at a houseboat for a unique backwater cruise experience. Spend the afternoon and evening gliding through the serene backwaters, taking in the picturesque landscapes, and enjoying traditional Kerala meals prepared on board. The tranquil surroundings and the gentle movement of the houseboat provide a perfect setting for relaxation. Your day will end with an overnight stay on the houseboat in Alleppey, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in this distinctive and peaceful environment.


Day 3 Alleppey to Varkala

In the morning, check out from the houseboat and drive to Varkala, a journey of approximately 2-3 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and take some time to unwind. In the evening, visit the picturesque Varkala Beach and the stunning Varkala Cliff, where you can enjoy the scenic views and the calming ocean breeze. Explore the vibrant surroundings, perhaps taking a stroll along the cliffside pathways or enjoying some local delicacies. Conclude your day with an overnight stay in Varkala, basking in the tranquil ambiance of this coastal town.


Day 4 Varkala Sightseeing

In the morning, visit the ancient Janardhana Swamy Temple, known for its religious significance and beautiful architecture. Following this, head to Kappil Beach to enjoy its serene beauty and peaceful atmosphere. In the afternoon, explore Sivagiri Mutt, a prominent pilgrimage site, and then wander through the local markets to experience the vibrant local culture and perhaps pick up some souvenirs. Spend the evening relaxing at Varkala Beach, soaking in the tranquil surroundings, or indulge in a rejuvenating local spa treatment. Day 5 Varkala to Trivandrum

Check out from the hotel in the morning and drive back to Trivandrum, which takes approximately 1-2 hours. Upon arrival in Trivandrum, if time permits, visit the Napier Museum and Zoo to explore their rich collections of art, history, and wildlife. In the evening, you will be dropped off at Trivandrum airport or railway station for your departure.
