To
apply for a tourist visa to Argentina, there are two primary methods: E-Visa
and Consular Submission. Below are the details and requirements for each
method:
E-Visa

• Suspension for Schengen Visa Holders:
E-Visa service is suspended for applicants with a valid Schengen visa.
• Available for US Visa Holders: Only
applicants with a valid US visa (minimum validity of 6 months) can use the
E-Visa service.
Eligibility
Conditions
• Travel Purpose: Applicant must be
traveling for tourism.
• Valid US Visa: Applicant holds a US
B2 visa valid for at least 6 months.
• Valid Schengen Visa: Applicant holds
a Category C Schengen visa valid for at least 6 months.
E-Visa
Validity
• Validity Period: 3 months from the
date of issue.
• Entries: Multiple entries allowed.
• Duration of Stay: Up to 3 months per
visit.

• Requirement: Applicants must attend a
personal interview at the Embassy/Consulate as instructed.
Required
Documents
1. Passports:
• Original passport valid for at least
6 months with 1 completely free page.
• Photocopy of the data and amendment
pages of the passport.
• Original old passport booklets, if
any.
2. Photographs:
• One passport-sized photograph (4 cm x
4 cm) taken within the last 6 months (scanned photos not accepted).
3. Covering Letter:
• Addressed to The Visa Officer,
Embassy of the Argentine Republic.
• Brief profile of the applicants and
purpose of travel with travel dates.
• On plain paper for individuals, on
company letterhead for officials/sponsored applicants.
4. Bank Statements:
• Original bank statements for the last
six months, stamped and signed by a bank officer, showing bank contact details.
• Statements should be from relevant
and active accounts, showing proof of funds and income.
• Statements should be recent (A4 size
preferred).
• Credit card statements (optional).
5. Itinerary / Air Tickets:
• Return tickets.
6. Purpose of Travel / Accommodation:
• Hotel vouchers or other proof of
accommodation.
• Yellow fever vaccination certificate.
• A letter explaining the purpose and
day-to-day program itinerary of the trip.
• For family visits: Original
invitation letter, passport copy, and Argentine ID (DNI) copy from the host,
certified by
an
Argentine Public Notary and the "Colegio de Escribanos" (the Public
Notaries’ Association). The invitation letter must specify the place of
accommodation and who will cover the expenses.
7. Supporting Credentials:
• Authority letter from the applicant
on company letterhead in favor of the travel agent for submission and
collection of the passport.

Documents Based on Applicant's Status
• Businessmen:
• Proprietorship certificate /
Certificate of Registration / Memorandum of Association / partnership deed /
PAN card.
• NOC from other partners or directors
if it is a partnership.
• Employees:
• Leave sanction letter from the
company or government body for public servants.
• Last three months' salary statements
(for private firms).
• Company ID card (optional).
• Retirees:
• Retirement certificate or letter /
Copy of pension book.
• Pension statements for the last three
months.
• Students:
• Leave sanction letter from the
educational institution for travel during working days.
• Bonafide certificate from the
educational institution for travel during vacations.
• School/college ID card (optional).
• Newly Weds/Honeymooners (if the
spouse's name is not endorsed in their passports):
• Marriage certificate (original).
• Wedding invitation card/photographs
(if the marriage certificate is not ready).
• Children Traveling Unaccompanied by
Both Parents or Either Parent:
• NOC from both parents mentioning
whether they are accompanying the child or not.
• Passport copies of both parents, or birth
certificate of the applicant and ID cards of the parents if they don't have
passports.
• Travelers Unaccompanied by
Spouses/Partners:
• NOC letter from the unaccompanied
spouse.
• Passport copy of the unaccompanied
spouse, or any government ID proof mentioning the spouse's name if the spouse
does not hold a passport.
Translation
and Additional Notes
• Translations: Necessary documents
must be translated into Spanish by a professional translator (translations do
not need to be notarized).
• Personal Presence: The visa officer
may request the personal presence of the applicant.
