Tourist Visa

Candidates must submit their applications in person at the Algerian Embassy in New Delhi or through a designated representative.  

For a tourist visa to Algeria, you'll need to ensure you have the following documents:

Passports:

•        Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry with at least two blank pages.

•        Copy of passport bio-data pages (photo page and address/parents page).

Photographs:

•        Two recent passport-size photographs (35mm x 45mm) not older than 30 days.

Covering Letter:

•        Addressed to The Visa officer, Embassy of Algeria.

•        Brief profile of the applicants and purpose of travel with travel dates.

•        Can be on plain paper for individuals or on the company letterhead for officials/sponsored applicants.

Bank Statements:

•        Proof of adequate funds with the last 3 months' original bank statement signed and stamped by the bank.

•        Relevant and active accounts showing proof of funds and income.

•        Bank statements closer to the date of visa application (A4 size preferred).

Itinerary / Air tickets:

•        A day-to-day itinerary/travel plan covering the applicant's stay in Algeria.

IT Returns:

•        Income tax returns.

Purpose of Travel / Accommodation:

•        Letter from Indian company/institution mentioning the purpose of the visit.

•        Tourism invitation attested by local authorities.

•        Proof of Hotel/accommodation reservation in Algeria with contact number and address.

•        Accommodation certificate duly certified by local authorities in Algeria.

•        Day-wise itinerary of the tour.

Supporting Credentials:

•        Specific documents depending on the traveler's category (e.g., businessmen, employees, students, newlyweds, children traveling alone, travelers unaccompanied by spouses/partners).

For instance:

•        Businessmen: Proprietorship certificate, PAN Card, NOC from partners or Directors.

•        Employees: Leave sanction letter, Last 3 months Salary Statements, Company ID card (optional), Retirement Certificate or Letter.

•        Students: Leave sanction letter, Bonafide Certificate, School/College ID card (optional).

•        Newly Wed/Honeymooners: Marriage Certificate, Wedding Invitation card/Photographs.

•        Children traveling alone or with only one parent: NOC from parents, Passport copies/copy of parents, Birth certificate of the applicant, ID cards of parents.

•        Travelers unaccompanied by spouses/partners: NOC letter from unaccompanied spouse, Passport copy of the unaccompanied spouse, Government ID Proof mentioning spouse name (if applicable).

Ensuring you have all these documents in order will facilitate the visa application process for travel to Algeria.
