Tourist Visa

To apply for a tourist visa on arrival in Angola, follow these steps and ensure you have the necessary documentation prepared:

Tourist Visa on Arrival:

•        Availability: Angola issues a tourist visa on arrival for 30 days at Luanda Airport.

•        Pre-Visa Requirement: Visitors must first apply for a pre-visa online with the Migration and Foreigners Service. Once the pre-visa is granted, they can obtain the visa on arrival at Luanda Airport.

Tourist Visa (Consular):

•        Purpose: Granted for recreational, sports, or cultural visits.

•        Validity: Must be used within 60 days of issue, valid for up to 30 days (extendable once for another 30 days). Can be issued for single or multiple entries.

•        Limitations: Does not permit residence or any paid activity.

Document Requirements:

Passports:

•        Valid passport with at least 9 months of validity.

•        Copy of the passport’s first and last page showing data and photo.

•        Maximum file size: 300 KB

•        Image format: JPEG

Photographs:

•        Standard size photo with specified dimensions.

•        Width: 381-571 pixels

•        Height: 496-744 pixels

•        Maximum file size: 200 KB

•        Image format: JPEG

Supporting Documents:

•        Scanned images should be in grayscale, with a resolution of 100-150 dpi.

•        Image formats: JPEG or TIFF

•        Maximum file size for TIFF: 15,360 KB (15 MB)

•        Maximum file size for JPEG: 350 KB

Additional Documents:

•        Yellow Fever Card: Valid original yellow fever vaccination card and a clear photocopy.

•        Proof of Accommodation: Hotel reservations or proof of accommodation, or details of the host in Angola (valid photo ID card, complete address, mobile number, email address).

•        Bank Statement: Last six months' bank statements showing proof of funds, equivalent to USD 200 per each day of stay.

•        Ticket Reservation: Proof of ticket reservation with a return flight.

Important Note:

•        Interview: Applicants may be required to attend a personal interview at the Embassy/Consulate.

Summary:

1.       Pre-Visa Application: Apply online for a pre-visa with the Migration and Foreigners Service of Angola.

2.       Prepare Documents:

•        Valid passport (9 months validity, copies of first and last page).

•        Two photographs (meeting specified size and format).

•        Yellow fever vaccination card (original and photocopy).

3.       Arrival in Angola: Present your pre-visa approval and the above documents at Luanda Airport to obtain the visa on arrival.
