Tourist Visa

As of April 2025, Indian citizens can enter Belarus visa-free for up to 30 days, provided they meet specific conditions.

Visa-Free Entry for Indian Citizens

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Entry Point: Arrival must be through Minsk National Airport.
  • Duration: Stay must not exceed 30 days.
  • Travel Restrictions: This visa-free regime does not apply to travelers arriving from or departing to Russia, including airside transfers.
  • Financial Requirement: Proof of financial means to cover your stay, such as at least 25 Euros per day.
  • Health Insurance: Valid medical insurance covering Belarus with a minimum coverage of 10,000 Euros, which can be purchased upon arrival at the airport.


General Visa Requirements for Belarus

To apply for a tourist visa to Belarus, you need to submit the following documents:

1. Passports

The applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of the visa application.

Submit original old passport booklets if any.

2. Photographs

Two recent passport-sized photographs (35x45 mm) with a white background and 70-80% face coverage.

3. Covering Letter

A covering letter addressed to The Visa Officer, The Consulate General of Belarus.

The letter should include a brief profile of the applicants and the purpose of travel with travel dates.

For individuals, the letter can be on plain paper. For officials or sponsored applicants, it should be on the company letterhead.

4. Bank Statements

Original personal and company bank statements for the last 3 months, with the bank’s seal and signature.

The bank statements should be of relevant and active accounts showing proof of funds and income.

The statements should have a closing date close to the visa application date (A4 size preferred).

5. Itinerary / Air Tickets

Return air tickets and all internal flight/train tickets if any.

A day-wise itinerary of the tour.

6. Purpose of Travel / Accommodation

Visa of the country of destination or, if a visa is not required, confirmed air tickets, railway tickets, road transport tickets, or ticket booking confirmation.

7. Travel Insurance

Medical insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 10,000.

Ensure all documents are complete and accurate to facilitate a smooth visa application process.
