Tourist Visa
Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba are special municipalities of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and are collectively referred to as the Caribbean Netherlands (or BES islands).
If you're planning a tourist visit to Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, or Saba here are the key visa requirements and travel guidelines:
Visa Requirements
- Visa-Free Entry: Citizens of many countries, including India, do not require a visa for short tourist stays in Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba.
- Duration of Stay: You can stay for up to 90 consecutive days within a 180-day period across all three islands combined.
- Passport Validity: Ensure your passport is valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure date from the Caribbean Netherlands and contains at least two blank pages.
Required Documents for Entry
Even though a visa isn't required, you should carry the following documents:
- Valid Passport: As mentioned above.
- Proof of Accommodation: Hotel bookings or an invitation letter from a host.
- Return or Onward Ticket: Evidence of your intention to leave the islands within the permitted stay period.
- Sufficient Funds: Proof of adequate financial means to cover your stay.
- Travel Insurance: While not mandatory, it's advisable to have insurance covering medical expenses and emergencies during your trip.
