Tourist Visa 

To visit Cameroon as a tourist, you are required to obtain a visa in advance. Cameroon offers an eVisa system, allowing travelers to apply online before their trip.

Indian citizens generally need a visa to enter Cameroon, with options including standard visas and, for some, e-visas. 

Types of Visas

Cameroon offers various visa types, including tourist, business, and work visas. The specific requirements and procedures can vary depending on the visa type. 

1. e-Visa:

An e-visa is available for tourism purposes, allowing travelers to apply online and receive their visa confirmation electronically. 

2. Standard Visa:

Standard visas require a more formal application process, often including submitting documents in person at the Cameroon embassy or consulate. 

​Required Documents for Tourist Visa

When applying for a tourist visa, you will typically need to provide the following:​

• A valid passport with at least 6 months' validity from the date of entry.
• A completed visa application form.
• Passport-sized photographs.
• Proof of accommodation in Cameroon (e.g., hotel reservation).
• A round-trip flight itinerary.
• Financial proof (e.g., recent bank statements).
• A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.
• An invitation letter or detailed tour itinerary, if applicable.​

Important Notes

• Visa on arrival is generally not available for ordinary passport holders; it's typically reserved for diplomatic or service passport holders under specific agreements.
• Ensure you have a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate, as it's mandatory for entry.
• Overstaying your visa can lead to fines or other penalties.
