Tourist Visa

Visa-Exempt Travelers

Citizens from the following countries do not require a visa for tourism or business visits:​

  • United States
  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • Most British Commonwealth countries
  • European Union member states
  • Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and many Caribbean nations​

These travelers can stay in the Cayman Islands for up to 6 months without a visa. ​

Travelers Requiring a Visa

Nationals from certain countries, including India, China, Jamaica, Honduras, and the Philippines, typically require a visa to enter the Cayman Islands. ​

Exceptions:

If you are a citizen of India, China, or Jamaica and hold a valid visa from the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom, you may enter the Cayman Islands without a separate Cayman visa under these conditions:​

  • You must arrive directly from the country that issued your visa.
  • Your stay is limited to 30 days. ​

Tourist Visa Requirements

To apply for a Cayman Islands tourist visa, you will need the following documents:

  • Valid Passport: With at least 6 months validity beyond your intended stay and at least one blank visa page.
  • Completed Visa Application Forms: Two fully completed and signed application forms.
  • Photographs: Two recent passport-sized color photographs with a white background.
  • Travel Itinerary: Proof of round-trip flight reservations.
  • Accommodation Details: Confirmation of hotel bookings or a letter of invitation if staying with someone.
  • Proof of Funds: Recent bank statements or financial documents demonstrating sufficient funds for your stay.
  • Employment Letter: A letter from your employer stating your position and salary.
  • Police Clearance Certificate: Required for applicants over 18 years of age.
  • Visa Fee: Payable via a US Dollar bank draft to the Cayman Islands Government.
