Tourist Visa

To visit the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) for tourism, you must obtain a visa in advance. The DRC offers both traditional embassy-issued visas and an electronic visa (eVisa) system.

Tourist Visa Requirements:

• Application Form: Completed and signed visa application form.
• Photographs: Two recent passport-sized color photographs (2x2 inches) with a white background.
• Passport: Valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date.
• Accommodation Proof: A notarized invitation letter from a host in the DRC or a confirmed hotel reservation.
• Travel Itinerary: Copy of round-trip airline tickets or itinerary.
• Vaccination Certificate: Proof of yellow fever vaccination.

Important Notes

• Visa on Arrival: Generally not available. It's essential to obtain your visa before traveling.
• Regional Travel: If planning to visit regions like Virunga National Park, check for any additional permit requirements.
• Security Considerations: Some areas in the DRC may have travel advisories. Consult your country's foreign affairs department for current information
