Tourist Visa
For Indian nationals, Ethiopia offers two types of tourist visas:
Visa on Arrival
Requirements:
1. Return Air Ticket: Proof of a return flight to India or another destination.
2. Hotel Booking/Accommodation Proof: Confirmation of your stay in Ethiopia.
3. Vaccinations: Certificates for yellow fever and oral polio vaccinations.
4. Visa Fee: USD 50.
This visa is valid for 30 days and can be obtained at an Ethiopian airport.
E-Visa
Requirements:
1. Valid Passport: Copies of the front and last pages.
2. Travel Details: Information about your travel itinerary.
3. Accommodation Details: Information about your place of stay in Ethiopia.
Note: Travelers with an e-Visa can only enter Ethiopia via Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. Entry via other ports is not allowed.
Application Process:
• Visa on Arrival: Obtain at the airport upon arrival.
• E-Visa: Apply online through the Ethiopian e-Visa portal before your trip.
