Tourist Visa

For Indian nationals traveling to Kenya, the following visa options are available:

Kenya no longer offers visas on arrival. Instead, all travelers must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before departure. This eTA is required for stays of up to 90 days and can be applied for online. The eTA application can be submitted up to 90 days before your planned travel date.

The eTA is a mandatory digital travel authorization required for most foreign nationals, including Indian citizens, prior to traveling to Kenya. It replaces the previous eVisa system and must be obtained before departure.

Documents Required

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months with at least one blank page
  • Recent passport-sized photograph
  • Travel itinerary (flight details)
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter)
  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate (if arriving from a country with risk of yellow fever transmission)
  • Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) certificate
