Tourist Visa

As an Indian citizen, you can enjoy visa-free entry to Macau for up to 30 days for tourism or business purposes.

Documents Required

Even though a visa isn't required for stays up to 30 days, ensure you have:

A valid Indian passport (with at least 90 days' validity beyond your stay)
Proof of accommodation (e.g., hotel booking)
Evidence of sufficient funds (bank statements or cash)
Confirmed return or onward flight ticket
No Prior Immigration Violations: You should not have any history of deportation or bans from Macau.

If you plan to stay in Macau for more than 30 days, you'll need to apply for a visa. This can be done through the Embassy or Consulate of the People's Republic of China.

Additional Tips

Currency: The official currency is the Macanese Pataca (MOP), but Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) are widely accepted.
Languages: Chinese (Cantonese) and Portuguese are official languages; English is commonly spoken in tourist areas.
Transportation: Public buses, taxis, and free hotel shuttles are the main modes of transport.
Climate: Macau experiences a humid subtropical climate with hot summers and mild winters.
