Tourist Visa Requirements for Niger
Documents and Particulars
1. Passports
o Validity: Minimum six (6) months validity from the date of travel.
o Photocopies: Photocopy of the passport's first and last pages.
2. Photographs
o Quantity: Two recent passport-size photographs.
3. Covering Letter
o Details: A covering letter from the applicant on company letterhead.
o Content: Should state the purpose and duration of the visit along with personal and passport details.
o Address: The letter should be addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Republic of Niger.
4. Income Tax Returns
o Requirement: Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
5. Bank Statements
o Requirement: Bank statements for the last 6 months.
o Details: Statements should be from relevant and active accounts, showing proof of funds and income. The closing date should be closer to the date of the visa application. A4 size paper is preferred.
6. Itinerary / Air Tickets
o Requirement: Return confirmed air tickets.
7. Purpose of Travel / Accommodation
o Invitation Letter: From the company or sponsor.
o Employer Letter (if applicable): Stating that the applicant is going on official work and mentioning the mode of funding.
o Vaccination Certificates:
Yellow Fever: Mandatory (Original and photocopy).
Polio: Required.
Cholera: Required only if traveling from a neighboring country where an outbreak of the disease has been reported.
o Proof of Accommodation: Hotel reservation.
o Travel Agent Letter: Certifying that a round-trip ticket has been booked.
