Nigeria Tourist Visa Requirements for Indian Nationals
Important Note:
Applicants are required to attend a biometrics process at an application center with a prior appointment.
Required Documents and Particulars:
1. Passports
o The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application.
o A copy of the passport data page.
2. Photographs
o Two passport-size photographs.
3. Covering Letter
o A covering letter from the Applicant addressing The Visa Officer, Nigerian High Commission.
o The covering letter should provide a brief profile of the applicants and the purpose of travel with travel dates.
o The covering letter can be on plain paper for individuals and on company letterhead for officials/sponsored applicants.
4. Bank Statements
o Original 6 months personal and company's bank statements with the seal and signature from the bank, showing the applicant's name and address.
o The bank statement must have a minimum of $1000 in credit (overdrafts are not included).
o Bank statements should have a closing date closer to the date of visa application (A4 size preferred).
5. Itinerary / Air Tickets
o A copy of a paid flight ticket showing both entry and exit from Nigeria.
6. Purpose of Travel / Accommodation
o Any proof of accommodation/purpose at the destination, such as a booking certificate and payment receipts from the tour operator.
o Copies of confirmed hotel, guest house, or motel booking with the name of the applicants.
o A letter of invitation from a company/host in Nigeria accepting immigration responsibility.
7. Health Certificates
o A valid Polio (OPV) Certificate is required. The dose of OPV should be taken at least four weeks prior to departure from India.
o Yellow Fever Certificate (in original).
8. Biometric Enrollment
o Applicants must come for biometric enrollment with an appointment at O.I.S. Offices either in Mumbai or New Delhi.
