Tourist Visa 

Peru Tourist Visa Requirements

Visa-Free Entry

Indian nationals can enter Peru without a visa for up to 90 days if they hold a valid visa with at least 6 months validity from one of the following countries:

USA

Canada

Schengen Area

United Kingdom

Australia

If Not Eligible for Visa-Free Entry, the Following Documents Are Required:

1. Passports

Valid Passport: Valid for at least one year.

Photocopies: Data pages of the applicant's passport.

Old Passports: Original old passport booklets if any.

2. Photographs

Quantity: 3 photographs.

Specifications: Size 4.3 x 3.5 cm, taken no more than 6 months ago, with face size visible 70% - 80%. Scanned photos are not acceptable.

3. Covering Letter

Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Embassy of Peru.

Contents: Brief profile of the applicants, purpose of travel, travel dates, and a day-to-day itinerary.

Format:

o For individuals: On plain paper.

o For officials/sponsored applicants: On company letterhead.

4. Bank Statements

Duration: Last 3 months.

Details: Stamped and signed by a bank officer, showing contact details of the bank.

Relevance: Should show proof of funds and income from relevant and active accounts.

Format: Preferably A4 size, with a closing date close to the date of visa application.

5. Itinerary / Air Tickets

Details: Confirmed onward/return air ticket. The air-ticket number is used on the visa stamp, so the original air ticket is required.

6. Purpose of Travel / Accommodation

Proof: Hotel vouchers or other accommodation proof.

Letter: Explaining the purpose and day-to-day itinerary of the trip.

Sponsored Trips: If sponsored, a written affidavit from the sponsor in Peru or India is required, stating that they will cover all costs of boarding, lodging, or repatriation. Identity and financial proofs of the sponsor are also needed.

7. Supporting Credentials

Credit Card Statements: International.

Businessmen:

o Documents: Proprietorship certificate, Certificate of Registration, Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, Partnership Deed, PAN Card.

o NOC: From other partners or Directors in case of partnership.

Employees:

o Documents: Leave sanction letter from the company (Government body for public servants), last 3 months salary statements (private firms), company ID card (optional), retirement certificate or letter, copy of pension book.

o Pension Statements: Last three months.

Students:

o Documents: Leave sanction letter from the educational institution (for travel during working days), Bonafide Certificate from the educational institution (for travel during vacations), School/College ID card (optional).

Newly Wed / Honeymooners (if the spouse's name is not endorsed in their passports):

o Documents: Marriage certificate (Original), wedding invitation card/photographs (if the marriage certificate is not ready).

Special Requirements for Minors:

o Documents: Presentation of the original birth certificate or a notarized copy. Copies without the original birth certificate must be legalized by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India.

Children Traveling Unaccompanied by Both Parents/Either Parent:

o Documents: NOC from both parents mentioning whether they are accompanying or not, passport copies/copy of both/either parent, birth certificate of the applicant and copies of parents' ID cards (if parents don’t have passports).

Travelers Unaccompanied by Spouses/Partners:

o Documents: NOC letter from the unaccompanied spouse, passport copy of the unaccompanied spouse, or any government ID proof mentioning spouse’s name if not a passport holder.

Ensure all documents are accurately prepared and meet the specific requirements to facilitate the visa application process.
