Tourist Visa

To apply for a tourist visa to Russia as an Indian citizen, you have two primary options: the Unified e-Visa (UEV) and the Traditional Sticker Visa.

1. Unified e-Visa (UEV)

The Unified e-Visa allows Indian nationals to enter Russia for tourism, business, or other approved purposes. It is a single-entry visa valid for 60 days from the date of issue, with a maximum stay of 16 days. This visa can be applied for online without the need for an invitation letter or hotel booking confirmation.

Important Notes:

  • The e-Visa is valid only for entry through specific border points approved by the Russian government.
  • Extensions are generally not permitted unless due to emergency medical reasons or force majeure.
  • Ensure to carry a printed copy of the e-Visa during travel.

2. Traditional Sticker Visa

For longer stays or entry through non-approved border points, a traditional sticker visa is required. This visa must be obtained through the Russian Embassy or Consulate.

Required Documents:

  • Valid passport with at least 6 months validity.
  • Completed visa application form.
  • Recent passport-sized photographs.
  • Invitation letter from a Russian tour operator or organization.
  • Proof of accommodation in Russia.
  • Travel insurance covering the entire stay.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay
