Tourist Visa

As of April 2025, Syrian authorities have introduced an eVisa system for short-term tourism. Indian passport holders are eligible to apply for this eVisa. The application process is entirely online, eliminating the need to visit an embassy or consulate.

Required Documents

To apply for a Syrian tourist eVisa, you'll need:

Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from your intended arrival date in Syria.
Photograph: A recent passport-sized color photo with a white background.
Travel Itinerary: Proof of accommodation (hotel bookings) and return flight tickets.
Financial Proof: Bank statements from the last 3 months to demonstrate sufficient funds for your stay.
Cover Letter: A personal letter explaining the purpose of your visit.
Visa Application Form: Completed and signed.

Important Notes

Entry Points: You can enter Syria through Damascus or Aleppo airports.
Visa Validity: Ensure that your visa is valid for the entire duration of your stay.
Documentation: Carry a printed copy of your eVisa approval when traveling.
Travel Insurance: It's recommended to have travel insurance covering the duration of your stay.
