Tourist Visa

To visit Vanuatu for tourism, you may need to obtain a Tourist Visa, depending on your nationality. Citizens of over 120 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, and most South Pacific nations, can enter Vanuatu visa-free for short stays of up to 30 or 90 days. However, citizens of certain countries, such as India, are required to obtain a visa prior to arrival.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a tourist visa, applicants must:

Be outside Vanuatu at the time of application
Hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay
Possess a return or onward ticket
Demonstrate sufficient financial means to support themselves during the stay
Pass a character test and be free from contagious diseases
Provide written consent from parents or legal guardians if under 18 years of age.

Required Documents

Completed Visitor Visa Application Form
Certified copy of your passport's bio-data page (passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay)
Two recent passport-sized photographs
Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter if staying with family/friends)
Return or onward flight ticket
Proof of sufficient funds to support your stay (e.g., bank statements showing at least 60,000 VUV per month)
Evidence of intent to depart Vanuatu within the visa period (e.g., employer's leave letter, proof of ongoing studies)
Consent letters if under 18 years of age, from parents or legal guardians
