Visa Rules

Tourist Visa

Yemen does not issue tourist visas. Indian citizens, and most other nationalities, need a visa for entry, and they must obtain it in advance of their trip, not on arrival. Visas are primarily issued for business, work, study, or for those with Yemeni origins.

Important Note: Due to the ongoing conflict and security concerns in Yemen, many governments, including India, advise against all travel to Yemen. It's crucial to check the latest travel advisories from your government and consider the safety implications before planning your trip.

Required Documents:

Valid passport with at least 6 months' validity.
Two recent passport-sized photographs (4x6 cm).
Confirmed return air ticket.
Hotel reservation or proof of accommodation in Yemen.
Travel itinerary detailing your plans in Yemen.
Health certificate confirming freedom from infectious diseases.
Visa for the country of onward travel, if applicable.
