A visit to Cherrapunji and Mawsmai Caves allows guests to witness some of the most beautiful waterfalls in India, including the Seven Sisters Falls, and explore the fascinating limestone caves. This leg of the retreat offers a tranquil escape into nature, with lush green valleys, mist-covered peaks, and rich Khasi culture at every turn.
The retreat continues to Guwahati, where travelers can visit the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Shakti Peethas in India, and the Balaji Temple, both offering serene spiritual experiences. Depending on time availability, a visit to the Assam State Museum offers a deep dive into the region’s rich history, culture, and tribal heritage. In the evening, a relaxing cruise on the Brahmaputra River allows visitors to soak in the panoramic views of the river and the city, setting a peaceful tone to the journey.

Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway station you will be received and greet by our company representative then visit Shillong (100km/3 hrs. approx) – known as the ‘Scotland of the East. On the way visit Umium Lake – the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya.
Arrive Shillong & check in Hotel. After freshen up visit the Cathedral of Mary & the Polo Ground. Evening free for leisure or for shopping in the famous Police Bazaar in Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
This morning after breakfast proceed for Dawki (120Km/3hrs) near the Bangladesh border and Mawlynnong (90km/2hrs. approx), this little colorful village is known for its cleanliness. Overnight stay at Dawki.
Post breakfast, on this journey, you can click beautiful pictures of the hills and valleys. Then visit Arwah cave or Mawsmai cave, Nohkalikai Falls, and Seven Sisters falls. Back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast check out from the hotel then transfer to Guwahati and visit Kamakhya temple , Balaji Temple,Assam State Museum(As time Permits). And Evening takes an evening cruise on the mighty river Brahmaputra(Own Cost) (As Time Permits). After that transfer Airport for your onward journey.
