Here is the detailed information for obtaining a tourist visa to Iran for Indian nationals, including the E-Visa process and consulate submission requirements:
E-Visa for Iran:
Overview:
• Eligibility: Indian nationals can apply for an E-Visa.
• Collection: Visas can be collected from any international airport in Iran through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Offices.
• Fee: €90.
• Type: Single entry, valid for 30 days.
Requirements:
1. Passport: Scanned copy of the first and last page.
2. Photograph: Scanned copy (400 x 600 px size, white background, 80% face coverage, JPEG format).
3. Travel Itinerary: Details of your planned travel.
4. Current and Previous Education and Work History: Information about your educational and work background.
5. Other Information: As applicable on a case-by-case basis.
Consulate Submission for Iran:
Documents and Particulars:
1. Passports:
o Original passport with at least 6 months validity and at least 2 blank pages.
o Original old passport booklets if any.
2. Photographs:
o 2 photographs with white background, glossy finish, 80% face coverage, dimensions: 45mm x 35mm.
3. Covering Letter:
o Addressed to the Visa Officer, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
o Brief profile of the applicants and purpose of travel with travel dates.
o Can be on plain paper for individuals and on company letterhead for officials/sponsored applicants.
4. Bank Statements:
o Original 6 months personal and company's bank statements with the bank's seal and signature.
o Relevant and active accounts showing proof of funds and income.
o Should be of a closing date closer to the date of visa application (A4 size preferred).
5. IT Returns:
o Latest 3 years Income Tax Acknowledgement / ITR-V (Saral) of individuals and the company.
6. Itinerary / Air Tickets:
o Return air tickets with all internal flight/train tickets if any.
o Day-wise itinerary of the tour.
7. Purpose of Travel / Accommodation:
o Proof of accommodation/purpose at the destination, booking certificate, and payment receipts from the tour operator.
o Invitation from Iran should be sent to the Embassy through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
o Hotel vouchers.
